SCAPPA offers the Certified Prevention Specialist (CPS) and the Certified Senior Prevention Specialist (CSPS) certifications as recognized by the International Credentialing & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC). 

Once you've read through the Benefits and Steps to Certification, and you're ready to get started, then

download this PDF form (or this version in Word) to complete. The form can be emailed, faxed, or mailed. Payments may be mailed or you can quickly and easily pay online. 

 When received and processed you will gain access to the Certified Prevention Specialist section of the website which contains all of the information you need to get started.
